Heather, the best place to look for jobs like this are on the legitimate freelance boards that are monitored. Three of these are ODesk, Elance, and Guru.com. There are others as well, but in general you should look for sites that have mechanisms for keeping both the freelancer and the contractor/employer accountable.

I agree with Angie. I work in an accounting firm right now and have been doing it for years and I wanted to start doing it from home part time to see if I would rather do that since I have a baby 7 months old. I have been looking on line and trying to find somewhere that I can get jobs and I haven’t found anywhere that seems like it will not be a scam.
